°° P.toile’s “Piano Piano” comes to life

Piano Piano has been one of our favorite tracks since it first crossed our radar here at mothership. It’s the type of track that always has a noticeably energizing effect on the dancefloor, whether you drop it at 11pm or 7am.

We are pleased to announce that Piano Piano has gained another dimension - after five months of painstaking labor, Mr. Kama has created a lush stop-motion extravaganza to correspond with this beautiful song.

From the director:

“…..you are introduced to this crazy story by the yellow floor that represent the house’s dimension…
the evil’s black trees are growing up…
the lover receives one telephone call…
the red little balls going up and down the white stairs beat the time which is passing(like the old pendulum)…
the lover is feeling that he needs to act and decides to write a letter to the the white hands waiting for him…
the black letters (that represent the communication) jump down from the paper and are going directly to the “paper ships” (that represent the old way to communicate between people)…
the letters are leaving the house…

after that once again you are flying in a magic world where everything is growing up….
first the grass, flowers, pink corals, dark-green plants, green cubes of plant food and in the end the sea…
finally the “paper ships” bring the letters to their end…
they die, falling down thru the cotton…
at this point the white hands (that symbolized the purity of woman and the waiter) are starting to live again…the letters as well are flying upon them…
in the end the hands have to die (falling down in the cottons) cause the message was not clear…

communication problem, love not correspond, ancient way to communicate, time passing too fast, this is what the video is about…”
