Polish duo Catz N Dogz first gained prominence as 3 Channels with a gritty, teched-out remix of Claude VonStroke’s breakout tune “Who’s Afraid of Detroit?”. As Catz N Dogz they first established themselves as being West Coast house aficionados on the 2008 album Stars Of Zoo for the Dirtybird offshoot Mothership.
But on their follow-up, Escape From Zoo, the pair go out on a limb and reinvent them self as a modern funk juggernaut. Escape covers a wide range of dance music in search of the perfect beat and introduces Catz N Dogz as underground music’s new heavy hitters.
